WHY US?

We are a full-service brand agency with over 20 years’ experience in taking brands above and beyond.

From FMCG to Government comms and everything in between, we've navigated a diverse landscape of brand development, crafting strategies, websites and collateral that resonate and deliver with their customers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

RenewOak is an established player in the barrel rejuvenation and supply market. However, the growth of the brand has outpaced the website, which no longer reflects the quality and scale of the operation.

STRATEGY

STRATEGY

A PHASED APPROACH THAT GROWS WITH RENEWOAK

Our initial task is to breathe a new lease of life into the RenewOak brand and website.

Following this, there are numerous opportunities to improve site visitation, lead generation and operations, which are also detailed in the phased approach below.

It is our intent to build your website and online presence that can scale as your business grows.

PHASE 1

Brand development

There’s a real opportunity to be a big fish in a small pond.

We recommend brand development as part of this website proposal, allowing us to augment the brand in ways that ensure you have cut-through among competitors.

  • ENHANCE: Discover the brand ‘gap’ in the competitor landscape and ensure RenewOak brand has a unique and memorable aesthetic

  • EXTEND: Develop a design language for RenewOak that allows us to leverage the brand identity at every touchpoint (e.g. downloadable flyers and product spec sheets, presentation templates, industry expo collateral etc)

  • CONSISTENCY: We will create a mini brand style guide to ensure brand consistency moving forward.

PHASE 2

‘Brochure’ Website

We will design your new website using new graphic element styles defined during brand development.

This phase of the website presents the brand story, products and services beautifully, with lead capture functionality that ensures RenewOak salespeople can follow up prospective clients effectively.

  • USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN: This will be a two-journey site where winemakers and distillers can find relevant products and services quickly.

  • PROTOTYPING: We will prototype the website in an interactive wireframe so that you have a full experience of the site before moving to development.

  • COPY WRITING: We'll ensure the message is clear, concise and resonates with the target audience, building anticipation and excitement.

PHASE 3

Search Engine Optimisation

The website we develop for RenewOak will follow best practice in technical SEO (making it easier for search engines to index your content), an ‘On-page SEO’ strategy (concerning the content itself) will help capture organic traffic to help generate brand awareness and leads.

  • KEYWORD RESEARCH: We can provide deep insight into the search habits of your target markets that will inform how your site content can be optimised – not just to grow site visits, but attract qualified leads.

  • TREND AND GAP ANALYSIS: Competitor and market research to determine the keywords that RenewOak can leverage to gain an advantage over other organisations offering similar products and services.

  • CONTENT ANALYSIS AND COPY WRITING: Evaluate the quality and relevance of the website’s existing content, identifying areas for improvement.

PHASE 4

Ecommerce capabilities

With the brochure site operational and optimised for SEO in Phase 3, we can move implement systems that improve efficiencies at operational level:

  • CRM SOFTWARE: Crew can integrate website lead capture with your preferred Customer Relationship Management software to ensure the customer experience is maintained effectively.

  • ONLINE ORDERS, PAYMENTS, INVOICING AND STOCK CONTROL: We can implement an eCommerce platform for barrel orders or service requests to reduce administration time.

PHASE 5

Regionalise

To connect with potential customers in other regions, we can scale up the website to include any number of languages.

  • TRANSLATION : We can provide translations that maintain the brand’s tone of voice, no matter the language.

  • RESONANCE: We believe that translation transcends words. We can design the site to deliver imagery specific to the selected region, ensuring the brand resonates with customers all around the world.

PHASE 6

Maintenance and support

We offer 30 days of complimentary support after the website goes live. While things are unlikely to go awry after this period, we can offer support on an ad-hoc basis.

Additionally, as a full service agency we are also available for other services to support your marketing efforts:

  • MEDIA AND ADVERTISING STRATEGY

  • SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING (SEM)

  • SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • GRAPHIC DESIGN AND PRINT PRODUCTION

  • VIDEOGRAPHY AND PHOTOGRAPHY

At Crew, we are passionate about crafting brands that lead businesses forward. In designing your website, we will extend the RenewOak brand to include new elements for the digital experience, so as part of this work, it makes perfect sense to include a small but crucial brand development component.

At the end of this phase you’ll have a mini style guide that includes everything from buttons to business cards and brochures, so that you’re set for brand consistency in the long run.

PHASE 1:
BRAND DEVELOPMENT

PHASE 2:
BROCHURE WEBSITE

Our vision for the initial website is one that is beautifully simple, rich with video and imagery that pays respect to care and craftsmanship in this centuries-old industry. This collection of references from around the web captures the level of quality, style and finish we intend to achieve for RenewOak’s new website.

GEOFF LEVY:
TWO SIDES

Geoff Levy’s website opens with a beautiful fullscreen split screen, one side of which is static and dedicated to his photography work, while the other features a video background and links to film projects. The proportions of the two sections change depending on the cursor movement, which focuses the user on the opposite sides of the site. The page is available in a grid layout as well, accessed through a simple icon placed on top of the divider line.

HARDINS CREEK:
SPLIT SCROLL

Hardins Creek demonstrates how a single scrolling action can affect two sides of the website in a way that steps through the brand story and offerings neatly. Fine geometric lines can be used to suggest technology and technical precision, while bold and bright imagery supports the brand’s tone of voice.

BENNETT TEA:
CONNECTED HALVES

The Bennett Tea website is delivered in a split screen slider layout that when scrolled, the slides change smoothly, one product after another. This could form part of the RenewOak’s user experience to suggest that there are always two sides to the brand, but when viewing each area, the visual language continues to flow through.

RECENT WORKS

The team at Crew has years’ of experience in developing beautiful websites. We are proud of our expertise in user experience (UX) strategy and interface design – some recent examples of these are included for your viewing, below.

This collection of websites covers everything from simple brochure websites to full ecommerce implementations.

CLIENT: Amadio Wines
PROJECT:
Brand refresh and eCommerce Website

CREW were engaged to provide a much-needed uplift to the Amadio Wines brand. such that it reflected the quality of its product and global scale of its operation.

The website’s clean, contemporary finish belies its a sophisticated eCommerce system, which learns user behaviour to dynamically tailor the product mix based on each visitor’s preferences.

Crew also filmed and produced the hero video to further enhance the perception of quality,

CLIENT: The Vantage
PROJECT:
Brand and lead generation website

The Vantage is a new boutique hotel situated in Semaphore – the result of painstaking restoration of a historic building with a centuries-old story to tell.

Our challenge was to craft a new brand to launch The Vantage in the upper quadrant of the luxury accomodation market.

The website we developed employs a phased approach – starting with Expressions of Interest to build buzz around the brand, later scaling up to a fully-fledged booking and hotel management system.

CLIENT: Angel Seafood
PROJECT:
Halo Oyster Club

The Halo Oyster Club was born from a need identified by Angel Seafood to move from supplying retailers to direct-to-consumer sales.

Crew’s brand strategists were involved early, providing deep market research and recommendations on how to access oyster aficionados without restaurants and fishmongers.

The result was the development and launch of the Halo Oyster Club – a membership that delivered live produce along with refreshing recipes every month. Our website managed it all – from new membership sign-ups to stock and logistics, ensuring members never missed out on their delicious delivery.

CLIENT: Alexander Spirits
PROJECT:
Brand Launch and eCommerce website

Prancing Pony commissioned Crew to craft a new gin brand and eCommerce website, launching into the market in a matter of weeks. The site connected to payment gateways and warehouse logistics, meaning less admin and quicker delivery to customers.

Crew provided copy writing, videography and photography for the website as part of the project.

PHASE 3:
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION

Based on the current website content and competitor landscape, we envisage the following plan of works to optimise search engine discoverability:

RESEARCH & DISCOVERY

The Discovery Phase will define our target keywords, by gaining a thorough understanding of the information and services that we want Veterans and their families to discover.

In addition to the Keyword Research we will complete a Gap Analysis for recommendations on content changes to the website. This works in concert with a Trend Analysis to provide insight into any seasonality and local variations that will also need to be targeted as part of the campaign.

ON-PAGE SEO

On-page SEO concerns the review and optimisation of website content to ensure that it is relevant to the identified target keywords, so that each page of the site provides valuable and relevant information about RenewOak’s products and services.

This phase includes copy writing to leverage keywords and phrases identified in the Research and Discovery phase.

OFF-PAGE SEO

Off-page SEO implements a Backlink Strategy to create opportunities for RenewOak to be discovered through relevant organisations

TECHNICAL SEO

While Crew will build the RenewOak website to comply with best practice and web standards.

When it comes to SEO we take an unbiased view and will audit the website for improvements that will contribute to the success of SEO works, including:

  • Mobile optimisation

  • Page speed

  • Structured Data markup to provide search engines with additional data about the website

MONITOR AND REFINE

Successful SEO projects are never set-and-forget.

This phase includes proactive monitoring and recommendations on SEO performance across all elements that will improve discoverability going forward (technical, on-page and off- page SEO), plus:

  • Competitor monitoring

  • Reporting on search ranking changes

  • Emerging trends and opportunities

PHASE 4:
ECOMMERCE AND CRM CAPABILITIES

We intend to build the site using a framework that can integrate with eCommerce and CRM software easily. When it suits the business to include these, we can prepare the website to:

ACCEPT BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
We can integrate a booking system for barrel rejuvenation services, accept payments for bookings and invoice clients right out of the website.

STOCK LEVELS
We understand that purchase of barrels require a more human touch, however the eCommerce software will serve stock level data live on the website. If logistics allow in the future, the ability to place an order online can be switched on.

CRM INTEGRATION
We can recommend, set up and integrate a Customer Relationship Management platform on the website such that leads are captured and followed up effectively.

For the purposes of this proposal we have included all items above in our budget estimate for this phase.
